Rhett and his team are absolutely amazing. From the time i stepped in his office I felt welcomed and comfortable. Going through a divorce is never easy and is very stressfull but Rhett made it easier. I knew what was going on at all times. I would highly recommend Rhett if your in the need for a good divorce attorney.

My husband and I needed to update our will and create a trust, and for various reasons, this was time-consuming and full of questions. Rhett was patient, knowledgeable, and unabashedly honest throughout the entire process. When we were conflicted on a decision, he walked us through different scenarios. When we had more than one option, he explained the pros and cons of each decision, or advising a different course of action. Needless to say, we are very pleased to have chosen Rhett, and will use him for any other legal needs in the future.

Mr. Burney met me with a big smile and a welcoming handshake. After sharing my need for his services he willingly accepted me as a client. Throughout the entire process, he and Hillary (paralegal) were thorough in their explanation of the process, reassuring me, that they kept me updated on meetings & trial dates (jury trial) as well as the post-trial settlement follow-ups (the jury was unanimous in my favor for full settlement)! Anytime I had a question or concern, or just needed to be reassured that this process takes time, I could use the client-attorney portal, call, or stop in their office to talk and I was always welcomed. Also feeling Mr. Burney's faith throughout this journey was very calming and reassuring. Hillary is an essential part of the law team, always knowledgeable, uplifting, and always on point....she's a spitfire!! The entire office staff is professional and helpful--great team. Should I need any legal service again I WILL secure their law firm again!

I first used Mr. Burney as my divorce attorney about 8 years ago and since then, I have used him for corporate and charitable foundation work. My initial consult regarding a "possible divorce" was during a very difficult time (as many probably are). I found Rhett to be very patient, compassionate, and clear in his communications about the process, next steps, and cost estimates. A year later I returned to him and proceeded with the divorce. Rhett is very experienced and did a great job looking out for my (and my children's) long-term best interest. He focused on what mattered and acknowledged the emotional aspects of the process. Divorce is not fun and it's not easy, but Rhett was a great advocate for me. His work in corporate and in a charitable foundation I am working with has also been excellent. He is responsive and when in court or otherwise unavailable, his staff is very responsive. I have referred many of my friends and business colleagues to him and will continue to do so.

He and his team are compassionate and kind, which helped me through much of the "not-so-fun-parts" of family court and mediation.
